For me, a variety of avenues keep me going: Firstly, as I’m an extrovert, speaking to friends who generally know how I am when experiencing low and high sugars and other challenges, helps me feel heard and validated.

Secondly, I have a couple of people whom I can discuss some actionable steps with (like my mother or best friend) – e.g. setting up a calendar when I can write down my diabetes “to do’s” for the day.
It also helps that I’ve more T1D friends now, whom I might message if I need specific support. I also rely on my spirituality, where I may have some inner dialogue with God on why I am facing some of these issues. Listening to hype music and taking a walk in nature also helps me. From time to time, traveling also improves my mood.

Some useful resources would be seeing psychologists and exploring somatic experiences (as they help with mindfulness).
