Hearts in Motion

In collaboration with ITE West PC, Diabetes Singapore participated in the Hearts in Motion community event on Saturday, 25 July 2026, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Wave Plaza, Jurong Lake Gardens. Organised by ITE West PC, the event brought together residents and youth for a morning of physical activity and health education.

Event Highlights

• Presidential Attendance: Graced by Guest of Honor President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, emphasizing national support for active lifestyles and preventive healthcare.
• Active Living Outreach: Utilizing Wave Plaza at Jurong Lake Gardens to engage the public on physical exercise as a core pillar of diabetes prevention.
• Sugar Smart Nation Alignment: Equipping participants with guidance on blood sugar tracking, evaluating nutrition labels, and reducing daily sugar intake.
• Youth & Institutional Collaboration: Partnering with ITE West PC to foster proactive health stewardship among student organizers and local families.
