World Diabetes Day (WDD) 2024 was an inspiring, action-packed success, drawing over 2000 people to Toa Payoh Hub Mall. Led by Dr Bee Yong Mong, President of Diabetes Singapore, and supported by an incredible array of partners and volunteers, this event underscored our unwavering commitment to the fight against diabetes. Our Guest-of-Honour, Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Health, joined us to affirm the government’s dedication to this critical cause.

Our theme, “Diabetes and Well-being,” highlights the multi-dimensional impact of diabetes on physical, mental, and social well-being. Beyond just physical care, our focus is on empowering individuals to manage diabetes sustainably within a supportive community framework. This approach encourages an interconnected view of well-being that supports not only people with diabetes but also their caregivers.
