Diabetes Singapore: GI Roller Coaster & Spin The D-Wheel [Community Buka Puasa]

Diabetes Singapore partnered with Sembawang West CC MAEC to present an interactive health booth titled “GI Roller Coaster & Spin The D-Wheel” as part of their Community Buka Puasa event on Saturday, 7 March 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the open field at Blk 786B Woodlands Drive 60. The outreach activity was supported by Gardenia and Jeff, who generously sponsored 12 boxes (300 items) for residents.

Visitors engaged in hands-on activities exploring the Glycemic Index (GI) and learned how different foods impact blood sugar control. Through the interactive “Spin The D-Wheel” game, participants tested their diabetes awareness while gathering as a community, fostering better health habits in a welcoming setting.
