Innovating Diabetes Awareness with Future Marketers: A Collaboration with SUSS

Diabetes Singapore (DS) partnered with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) as part of the Social Media Marketing in Practice course, led by Associate Professor Ada Wong. As part of this initiative, DS engaged with adult learners to explore the power of digital platforms in health advocacy. Students gained hands-on experience in website design and content development, YouTube marketing and video storytelling, and social media campaign planning for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Sharing DS’s mission and goals, current and future marketing needs and target audience that DS intends to reach out to, this collaboration hopes to see more impactful social media and marketing campaigns in support of diabetes awareness and advocacy.
