With a higher prevalence of diabetes in the Malay community in Singapore, early detection and prevention are vital. This health screening event was held at Masjib An-Nahdhah, in collaboration with Marymount Active Ageing Committee, Lloyd’s Register Foundation Institute for the Public Understanding of Risk (IPUR), BUZUD Singapore, Lions Club of Singapore Caring Palms and Capitol, SG Migrant Workers, Foreign Worker Association for Social Support (FAST), with Guests of Honour, Ms. Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State for Education and Manpower, and Mr. Chong Kee Hong, Member of Parliament for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, gracing the event.
